Our jewellery pieces are made using a thin layer of gold onto the surface of metal. 

Over time, all precious jewellery will naturally tarnish and can experience discolouration. This can be due to multiple factors including exposure to air,  moisture and chemicals. Despite our best efforts, metals like silver and gold are delicate, and can still fade due oxidation.

Following these simple steps will minimise these effects: 

• Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming or exercising. Or ensure to wipe completely dry after coming into contact with moisture.
• After use, clean jewellery gently with a soft dry cloth to remove any oil or dust and restore their shine.
• Never expose jewellery to household cleaning products, especially bleach and highly reactive solutions.
• Remove jewellery when applying make-up, creams to avoid the residue getting into the texture 
• When not in use, store your jewellery in your Odishye pouch in a cool, dry place to prevent oxidation, scratching and chains getting tangled.
